Avinash Smith asked:

Are you looking for replacement of Toyota engines? Engine replacement has become a nightmare because of parts matching and tinkering. But with the help of used Toyota engines it becomes simple to speed up your car on the road. Now the question arises in you mind how? It is said that, it’s quite expensive to own a car in Japan because when it comes to maintain and other expenditure on the car, it is around four times higher than US. Before purchasing a car, one needs to take the parking permission from the government of the Japan. Gasoline, Labor, insurance cost, highway tolls and repairing costs of the car are very expensive and availability is poor. In Japan, vehicles have fewer miles comparative to US. There are hardly few vehicles which are 6 years old. Car with minimal damage are considered as unsafe vehicles. Due to poor availability of auto parts, engines are recycled early.

If your Toyota is on the skids, a used engine is not far away from you. You can consult your local Toyota dealers or foreign manufacturers those are dealing with Toyota engines. Buying a used Toyota engine can be good way to speed up your car again on the road. If you made a right purchase then it will be convenient for your mechanic to install the engine trouble free.

You should think about purchasing a re-manufactured engine from Toyota or third party vendors. Engines which are recycled are sent to a certified Toyota destination where mechanics work on it to meet Toyota specifications that primarily made this brand so popular. These manufacturers have trained staff to test the engine via battery to make sure that the engine is in good condition and work well in forthcoming years. Recycled engines are tested for gasket seals, oil pressure, boring and various other sorts of issues that can affect the life cycle of engine. Deals with Toyota and domestic markets mean that used and re-manufactured Toyota engines are often only a call away.

With the boom of Internet, you can find Toyota engines websites on the web. There are plenty of Toyota engines dealers who offer cost effective engine. All you need is a computer or a laptop with the Internet connection to access the website. Just go through the numerous websites and study the terms and conditions and compare their costs and services in order to get the best deal.

Engineworld USA offers wide range of Toyota engines series at most competitive price. All engines are compression tested, leakdown tested, oil content tested, tested for smooth crankshaft revolution and tested for no sign of sparkling plug fouling.

Worry-free Ride With Toyota Wheels

Filed Under toyota | Comments Off

Glady Reign asked:

The invention of wheels made a thoroughly enjoyable ride on the road possible. Any automobile cannot get away without the old and trusty wheels. No matter how powerful the engine equipped in the Toyota vehicle is, for example, it is still useless if there are no wheels to move the car around.

Indeed the efforts of the internal systems will be in vain if there are no automotive parts to convert their power into something more useful. The Toyota wheels are given the important task of converting the chemical energy of the engine into mechanical energy, as the wheels start to operate which enable the vehicle to move forward. They are also given the responsibility of carrying the weight of the vehicle plus its load. Thus these auto parts are guaranteed to be made from the top of the line materials that are built to last.

There is a variety of Toyota wheels available in the market as replacement parts. Their specifications rely on the built and make of the vehicle. Toyota cars and other compact models utilize only the smaller wheels, which are usually 14 inches. Bigger and tougher-built vehicles, on the other hand, are geared with a set of wheels that are able to carry out the tasks for these medium to heavy duty vehicles. In choosing the right Toyota wheels, it is good to note that the size of the wheels can be measured by knowing the width and diameter of a wheel that can fit in the automobile. One can also choose whether Toyota wheels made of steel or alloy should be employed. The material choice again boils down to the needs and demands placed on the vehicle. However, Toyota owners have to make sure that only the best replacement Toyota wheels are bought and utilized. If the wheel system does not function well, all the other automotive systems and mechanisms relying on the wheels will not be able to carry out their tasks at all. Like other exterior automotive parts, Toyota wheels can also add an extra flair to the vehicle. Alloy wheels are usually the flashier and more stylish ones compared to the steel wheels.

Regardless of the choice of Toyota wheels, what matters most is that these are quality and reliable auto parts. As inconvenience on the road is inevitable, getting the best wheels that provide a worry-free ride is always a must.

Kaye Leery asked:

World’s top auto maker Toyota Motor Corp. may continue spending $2 billion or more a year to buy back its own shares for another 6-7 years. This was contrary to widely held views it was winding down the practice.

For many investors, who assumed Japan’s most-profitable company would pay attention instead on rewarding shareholders by paying higher dividends, that is good news.

Such premise initiated from President Katsuaki Watanabe’s comment a year ago. He stated that Toyota would aim to increase its group-based dividend ratio to 30 percent as soon as possible in consonance with healthy Western companies. That was the first time he had set a target for the ratio, which was 23.4 percent last business year.

The policy has seemed a mess for a company as visible as Toyota.

An official in the company’s investor relations department said that they probably have not been doing a good enough job in communicating their position. The official said that the dividend policy is much simpler but they intend to continue the share buybacks not just to balance supply and demand in the market as many people might believe.

In 1997, Toyota started buying back its own shares from the market to bolster their value. In the early part of this decade, the buybacks flooded when Toyota absorbed securities from Japan’s debt-riddled banks, which were removing shares to shore up their finances.

Those lenders are now healthy because the stock sales have run their course. Several market analysts forecasted that Toyota would have little reason to continue such aggressive buybacks.

The Japanese company said the buybacks were one way to hold its return on equity (ROE), a measure of how well a company uses its funds, higher than 10 percent. The ROE is now established above that as it reached 13 percent last year. But Toyota says it will pursue the buybacks, without specifying an amount or a timeline.

Last week, Toyota shareholders affirmed the reacquisition of up to 30 million shares or 250 billion yen ($2.04 billion) over the next 12 months. Toyota budgeted 200 billion yen a year earlier to buy back up to 30 million shares.

Kurt Sanger, Macquarie Securities’ auto analyst who expects big buybacks even as Toyota nears a 30 percent dividend payout ratio, said the latest pledge exceeded their expectations. He continued that consensus on forecasts are down playing Toyota’s earnings (per share) because they are not taking into consideration the buyback plans.

Sanger had forecasted buybacks summing 230 billion yen over the next three years. Now, he has lifted that to 750 billion yen.

Toyota Motor Corporation is the maker of quality Toyota engine mounts.

Toyota Sponsors Crash Course for Teens

Filed Under toyota | Comments Off

Jenny Mclane asked:

The parking lot of Paramount’s Kings Island was swarmed by hundreds of teenagers with their parents to get a free crash course offered by one of today’s auto giants - Toyota Motor Corp. The 4-hour program by the automaker entitled Driving Expectations featured manifold driving courses and interactive classroom sessions. The highlights of which include the talk about the dangers on the road.

“Toyota hosts the program five times a year in different parts of the country as a way to create a safer driving community,” said Michael Rouse, corporate manager in philanthropy and community affairs. “We make some of the safest cars on the road. But cars are only as safe as the drivers behind the wheel.”

The hands-on portion of the crash course lets the teens and their parents to have a driving experience behind the wheel of brand new Toyota cars such as Prius and Scion. The participants experienced skidding with anti-lock brakes while being disturbed by the passenger as well as surprise elements.

The 2006 Toyota Prius parts have undergone several minor cosmetic changes. To make the new model more desirable, it was given optional features like advanced airbags, an upgraded audio system, a rear-view camera, and a higher-resolution LCD display. Consequently, a Touring Edition is made available in the most recent model. The latter features larger rear spoiler, 7-spoke 16″ alloy wheels with plastic hub cab cover, and a firmer European tuned suspension, standard high-intensity-discharged (HID) headlights and integrated foglights. Further, advanced side-curtain airbags were made standard on all models.

Scion (pronounced SY-en), on the other hand, is designed to be dependent and distinctive. Yet, Scion performance parts deliver a link to Toyota heritage. “Toyota’s formation of genesis in 1998 marked the beginning of a quest to connect with an emerging new buyer group in the marketplace,” says Jim Lentz, TMS vice president, Scion. “Scion will act as a complement to the Toyota-brand banner by targeting an important portion of this consumer group who actively seek out the newest trends in style and innovation. Scion will target consumers who are well aware of, and may even covet, Toyota’s strong heritage of quality.”

The crash course also featured local residents who are car accident survivors. They talked about their past experiences to inspire teens and parents instill safety and precaution in driving. “The Toyota program not only gives teenagers valuable experience in various driving situations, but gives parents the tools they need to become better driving coaches,” says Elizabeth Perry, Toyota’s spokeswoman.

Mark Clarkson asked:

Florida’s Courtesy Toyota finally has the Prius on their lot and guess what? It’s now available for test drive. This is the first time actually in three years that the Toyota dealer has offered such promotion. According to Mike Hughes, Courtesy’s General Sales Manager, “Up until the last three or four weeks when Toyota has upped production on the Prius, we had a waiting list for a solid three years. At its longest point, the wait was nine months.”

Meanwhile, the Montpelier-based Toyota dealership has all the supply that they need but it seems like the demand for Prius has dwindled caused probably by the declining gas prices, lower tax credits and well maybe people just don’t have the cash anymore.

Sales of hybrid cars like the Prius have experienced its peak when gas prices reached an unbelievable $3 a gallon. During that time there were about 32,000 hybrid cars sold and then plunge to 19,000 in November according to CNW Marketing Research when prices of gas has dropped. The never ending fluctuation of gas prices is seen by Kevin Bowie, General Manager of Shearer Honda in Rutland as an opportunity for the hybrid industry, “For people in general, I think their awareness has been raised that this can be a very big expense very quickly. People that are buying hybrids are aware that we could go right back to that again,” he reportedly said.

It should be noted that the federal government has offered credit taxes to encourage people to purchase hybrid vehicles. Toyota was one of the companies that benefited from the tax credit incentive however new set rules on the credit taxes are now affecting the sales of Prius.

Before Oct. 1, 2006 buyers who chose to purchase one of Toyota’s Hybrid models like the Camry and Highlander received $2,600 credit for their tax returns while $3,150 tax return credit was provided for Prius buyers. However federal government new rules set a limit of 60,000 hybrids per carmaker to enable customers to receive the full tax credit. Unfortunately for Toyota since it has already reached the 60,000 hybrid car limit which means that its customers will no longer be entitled to the full tax credit. But there would still be tax credit to be given to Toyota hybrid customers but this time only 50%.

The quick turnover of Toyota’s hybrid vehicles was believed to be the result of high demand but limited supply. This explains why Toyota compared to other automaker has been able to quickly reach the 60,000 limit for hybrid cars. As matter of fact according to Mike Hughes, Courtesy’s general manager, “The Camry Hybrid has been on the market for five months, so there’s really limited availability. Typically they’re pre-sold before they come in.”

Hybrid vehicles are the only ones affected by the new rules and would have no adverse effect on the sale of Toyota parts.
