Can walmart make a copy of a toyota car key?

I lost my spare keys and im afraid if I dont get another copy I will lock my keys in the car and than be in more trouble. If I make a copy at walmart or a locksmith will it work in my car because of the micro chip?

      If it has a chip on the key, walmart won’t be able to help. You can have one cut that will open the doors though, which will be helpful if you happen to lock your keys in, but it won’t start the car.

      The dealer or a locksmith can get you the chip key and cut it. Some locksmiths don’t have the program to get the car to recognize the chip and will send you to the dealer, so check that out if you opt to get a full key made.
