I am buying a 2005 Toyota Rav4 with 12,000mi. There is currently a warranty on that car already for 72 months/100,000 miles. I want to make sure that I can have that warranty as well. I know that in some cases and with some cars that only part of the warranty transfers to the new owner.

      An extended warrenty and not what is factory warrenty and not what is called an extended warrenty.
